Vilitra 60 mg, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), was first introduced by Vidalista under the brand name Vilitra. It contains Vardenafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that works by increasing blood flow to the penis, aiding in achieving and maintaining an erection during sexual activity.
VILITRA 60 MG including the 60 mg dosage, was developed as an alternative to other ED treatments like Viagra (Sildenafil) and Cialis (Tadalafil). The exact date of its first introduction is not widely publicized, but it became available after Vardenafil was first approved by the U.S. FDA in 2003.
Vardenafil’s introduction in various generic forms, such as Vilitra, began around the mid-2000s as the patent for the original version, Levitra (the brand name for Vardenafil), expired, allowing for the release of more affordable generic versions. The 60 mg dosage offers a stronger alternative for men who require higher doses to achieve effective results.
As with all medications, Vilitra should be used under a healthcare provider's guidance to ensure safety and effectiveness.
